BOOK COVER DESIGNS
One of the Book Cover study that I submitted to a Spanish author for his book. the look and feel of oil painting in a Van Gogh style is evident in the design to convey a classic but eccentric touch.
this oil painted design of railroad in diversified track connects a message effectively for the book and its content, simply put life travels in different directions. this book design was approved and landed in publication.
This is the back cover that was approved for the book. while the front cover clearly suggests a diversified tracks, the back cover states a straight and seamless railroad that evidently leads to sunrise. the front and the back dramatically tells the story behind the book--a journey in one's life.
Responde is a collection of transgressive short stories written in Filipino. the look of a tattered, worn-out and old book is evident in my design to convey a timeless feel to it. this is just one of the study design for the said book.
an ebook cover of the Palanca-award winning novel of Eros Atalia. it's a composite digital painting that convey the novel's haunting story of real time incident.
Oyayi sa Daluyong is my newly written novel, which I also designed the cover. the novel is in the editing phase hopefully will come out this year.
Tapi-Celia is a coffee table book made for Ms. Celia de Luna. the family commissioned me to do the cover design and layout of the book that pays tribute to the 90th birthday of their mother.
